ARSENAL will make their first signing of the January transfer window this week – but it is not the big name the club’s fans are craving.

According to the , Bramall will complete his move this week.

Reports last week suggested that Wenger would offer the youngster a two-year deal with the north London giants.

Gunners fans will be hoping that the ace can have a similar impact at the club as Ian Wright, who arrived at Arsenal via Crystal Palace from the non-league scene in the early 1990s.

Bramall, who can also play left-wing, currently plies his trade in the seventh tier of English football.

It appears unlikely that he will go straight into the first-team squad at the Premier League high-flyers.

He will likely spend the rest of the campaign training with Under-23 side before getting a taste of the senior action.

But with Kieran Gibbs' Arsenal future looking uncertain, Bramall could be handed an opportunity to impress quicker than expected.
