Chelsea train ahead of massive clash away to Tottenham as they chase Arsenal’s 14 consecutive Premier League wins

Antonio Conte puts his side through their paces as they aim to stay ahead of the chasing pack in the Premier League

CHELSEA took to the training ground today ahead of their mouthwatering clash at White Hart Lane to take on London rivals Tottenham.

After dispatching Stoke 4-2 at Stamford Bridge the Blues equalled Arsenal's win record in a single season with their 13th win on the trot.

A victory at the Gunners arch rivals Tottenham will break that record and set Chelsea on their way to their sixth title, with still half of the season left to play!

The team is unlikely to change from the side that put four past Stoke with the in form Diego Costa raring to go and dump Mauricio Pochettino's men out of the title race.

Costa currently sits top of the Premier League scoring charts with 14 goals that have fired Chelsea six points clear at the top of the table ahead of Liverpool.

His return to form under Antonio Conte has been unbelievable which prompted a £50m bid for Chinese Super League club Tianjin Quanjian, which was rejected but now they are plotting an improved £80m offer to test the water.

The team with no changes to face Spurs will look like this: Courtois, Azpilicueta, Luiz, Chaill, Moses, Fabregas, Kante, Alonso, Willian, Diego Costa, Hazard.

Chelsea are also looking to beat Arsenal to the signing of Swiss left back Ricardo Rodriguez from Wolfsburg as they look for cover for Alonso who has been in great form since signing from Fiorentina.

John Terry wont feature against Tottenham unless there is an injury to one of the back four, but he will make an appearance at the weekend in the Fa Cup at home to Peterborough.

The skipper has lifted the famous old trophy five times including the first final to return to Wembley in 2007 against Manchester United with Didier Drogba scoring the only goal of the game.

Another player who is unlikely to feature on Wednesday night is Michy Batshuayi but just like Terry with the Fa cup match at the weekend coming up it should give the Belgian a chance to stake a claim for more minutes on the pitch.

Pedro has recently said that Conte is the manager that has worked him the most, and it is evident with his current performances also a major factor as to why Chelsea are running away at the top.

Whatever Conte is doing on the training ground it is working wonders for a side that finished 10th last season, they certainly wont be mid table fodder come the end of may.
