Olivier Giroud scores scorpion kick for Arsenal – just like Henrikh Mkhitaryan did for Manchester United on Boxing Day
OLIVIER GIROUD has seen Henrikh Mkhitaryan's wondergoal for Manchester Untied - and he might have just bettered it.
The Frenchman scored the opener for Arsenal against Crystal Palace at the Emirates, wowing the 60,000-strong crowd in the process.
He met Alexis Sanchez's cross having overrun the ball.

But not to matter, the 30-year-old flicked his left foot at the ball and directed it brilliantly past Eagles keeper Wayne Hennessey via the underside of the bar.
Manchester United ace Mkhitaryan scored a similar goal against Sunderland on Boxing Day as United ran out to a 3-1 win.
This latest strike from Giroud sparked debate on social media as to which one was better.

Mkhitaryan's goal was met brilliantly by a deep cross from Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Armenian also looked like he had overrun the Swede's cross, but as he leaned forward he flicked out a foot and the ball hit his heel and nestled into the back of the net.
Although in Mkhitaryan's case, replays showed he was clearly offside - the goal should have never stood.
