A SECTION of mindless morons broke a minute's silence for the Ibrox disaster with one shouting "I hope you die".

The tribute was held to remember the 66 fans who died on January 2, 1971.

The shout was heard as the poignant tribute was nearing an end just seconds before kick-off.

It is not known what section of the ground the chant came from.

Andy Halliday was seen shaking his head as the observation was disrupted.

The vast majority of fans perfectly observed the silence but the tribute was ruined by a tiny minority.
