Roberto Firmino charged with drink driving after being pulled over on Christmas Eve
ROBERTO FIRMINO has been charged with drink driving after being pulled over in Liverpool city centre on Christmas Eve.
The Brazilian is due to play for the Reds in their Premier League clash with Stoke at Anfield tomorrow.
Merseyside Police confirmed the 25-year-old was arrested after his car was pulled over in the city during the early hours of December 24.

The forward will have to appear in Liverpool City Magistrates Court on January 31 - the same day as Jurgen Klopp's side have a crucial Premier League encounter with Chelsea.
Merseyside Police said: "Merseyside Police has charged a 25-year-old man with drink driving after his car was stopped in Liverpool city centre in the early hours of Saturday, December 24, 2016.

"Roberto Firmino, from Liverpool, will appear at Liverpool City Magistrates Court on January 31."
Firmino has scored 17 times for Liverpool and has been in his best form this term along with fellow Brazilian Philippe Coutinho.
The club has declined to comment until after the legal proceedings have run their course.
Meanwhile defender Joel Matip is struggling to be fit for the visit of Stoke after missing the last two matches with an ankle injury.
Striker Daniel Sturridge made a decisive impact coming off the bench in Monday's Merseyside derby win but is likely to be among the substitutes again with Klopp likely to persist with Divock Origi.
Playmaker Coutinho has not yet returned to team training after ankle ligament damage and remains doubtful for the New Year's Eve visit of Manchester City.
