Paris Saint-Germain transfer news: Jese signing a ‘mistake’ as club president hints at exit after just six months
Spaniard has failed to make an impact following £21m summer move from Real Madrid and could now join Las Palmas on loan
PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN have indicated they are ready to part ways with Jese after just six months after branding the deal a ‘mistake’.
The Spaniard appears to be heading for an early exit at the Parc des Princes despite only joining last summer from Real Madrid in a £21million deal.
Jese snubbed interest from Arsenal and Liverpool in order to link up with Unai Emery as Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s replacement.
However, the 23-year-old has scored just once in nine league appearances and has been the cause of many headaches for PSG chiefs.
It was claimed in October that Jese’s extravagant lifestyle was putting his career in the French capital under threat.
The two-time Champions League winner has reportedly made no effort to learn the language and refused to go house hunting after holing up in a luxury five-star hotel.
But it appears Jese’s time at PSG is nearly up, with president Nasser Al-Khelaifi issuing a blunt response after being asked about a potential loan move to Las Palmas.
