ITALIAN champions Juventus are plotting an audacious £76million bid for Real Madrid superstar Toni Kroos next summer, according to reports.
The German midfielder has only just signed a new long-term deal at the Santiago Bernabeu after being linked with a Premier League switch last summer.
Reports in Spain claimed Kroos was unsettled under Zinedine Zidane and was ready to leave for a new challenge before penning his upgraded contract.
Juve are known to be scouring Europe for the best players available and have already spent £76m on Gonzalo Higuain after the Argentine finished as Serie A’s top scorer with Napoli last season.
But newspaper claims Max Allegri is desperate to land Kroos as he hunts an Andrea Pirlo-esque player to dictate the tempo from deep.
However, Juve will have to spend big after the playmaker’s Real release clause rose to an astonishing £255m.
AS adds that Kroos’ market value stands around the £50m mark, meaning Juve are prepared to offer an extra £25m to stand a chance of securing his signature.
