Monaco were shock winners of their Champions League group ahead of Bayer Leverkusen and Tottenham, now they will face Manchester City in the last 16.

Monaco will be hoping they can keep hold of their star players for the remainder of the campaign but they know that attractive offers for their players from top clubs will be hard to turn down.

Bakayoko has been one of the top performers for Monaco and Chelsea have sounded out the French outfit about a move whilst Manchester United want to do a deal in the summer.

But with Chelsea looking to bring the midfielder in might force United in to making a move for Bakayoko who they see as long term replacement for Michael Carrick.

Chelsea are also after Monaco's Djibil Sidibe and will hope that their interest in another of the clubs players could give them an upper hand in thrashing out a double deal.

With the sale of Oscar, Roman Abramovich has given the all clear for Antonio Conte the all clear to spend the £60m they will receive.

Bakayoko is seen as a powerful midfielder that can also score goals, having netted twice in his last two outings.

Monaco though will want to play hard ball over any transfer deals that will see players leaving the club with huge fixtures coming up after January which could define their season.
