Arsenal vs Crystal Palace: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain set to return for London derby clash after picking up hamstring injury against Manchester City
ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN could return from a hamstring injury in time to face Crystal Palace on New Year’s Day.
It was feared the Ox would be out for up to two weeks and miss three games after limping off during Arsenal’s 2-1 defeat at Manchester City on Sunday.
But boss Arsene Wenger now expects the England midfielder, 23, to miss the Boxing Day clash with West Brom but be fit for the Palace clash.

The Gunners chief received another boost with the news Welsh midfielder Aaron Ramsey could also be back from a toe injury to face the Baggies.
Meanwhile Alexis Sanchez has cast fresh doubts of his future by admitting he finds London “stressful” and “crowded.”
The Gunners forward and Mesut Ozil are caught up in contract wrangles, with the pair believed to be demanding £300,000 a week each.
Sanchez has just 18 months left on his current deal and Arsene Wenger has already admitted that he cannot guarantee the Chilean and Ozil will stay at The Emirates.
