Manchester United: Paul Pogba and Ander Herrera are all smiles as Red Devils get into the festive spirit at training
MANCHESTER UNITED’S stars were all smiles in training this morning despite the prospect of a gruelling session on Christmas Day.
The Red Devils are unbeaten in their last ten games, notching seven wins in the process to quash talk of a crisis under Jose Mourinho.
And key men including Juan Mata and David De Gea were grinning from ear-to-ear on the back of the recent run, which has also seen United win their last four matches in all competitions.
Paul Pogba appeared to be in a festive mood as he joked around with Eric Bailly, who appears to be fit again following a new knee injury scare.
The Ivorian could soon be joined in defence by Victor Lindelof, who is reportedly on the verge of completing a £42million move from Benfica to Old Trafford and could join in time for Mourinho’s planned Christmas afternoon work-out.
Even Memphis Depay had a smile on his face despite heading for the exit, but one man who plans on sticking around for a while longer is Ander Herrera.
Speaking ahead of the Boxing Day clash with Sunderland, Herrera told United’s official magazine: “[Would I like to stay?] Yes, but you never know because if I want to keep playing for United you have to play very well because United is the biggest club in England.
