The Benfica stopper was wanted last summer before Pep Guardiola opted for Claudio Bravo to replace England keeper Joe Hart
MANCHESTER CITY are ready to go back in for keeper Ederson Moraes.
It is a clear indication Joe Hart has no hope of restoring his Etihad career.
Benfica’s Brazilian No 1 Moraes, 23, was on City’s radar last summer before they signed Claudio Bravo from Barcelona.
They are now back on his trail and Portuguese sources insist they are expecting an approach.
City would have to fork out up to £20m but he would not come to England until the summer — starting next term as back-up to Bravo.
