CHELSEA have a 58 per cent chance of winning the Premier League for the fifth time since Roman Abramovich purchased the club in 2003.

On current form the Blues will take the title comfortably after winning their 10th game on the trot with a 1-0 victory at Sunderland on Wednesday night.

According to Chelsea will finish six points clear ahead of closet challengers Arsenal which is already the current gap between the two London rivals.

Arsenal have an 18 per cent chance of ending their 13 year wait for the Premier League title, whilst Pep Guardiola has a 11 per cent chance to be an instant success with Manchester City.

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool are predicted to be in with a 10 per cent chance of taking their first ever Premier League title and become the champions of England for the first time since 1990.

Tottenham have an extremely outside chance of just two per cent to take the title and will still be kicking themselves for not winning the Premier League ahead of Leicester City last season.

Most interesting of all is that Manchester United are deemed totally out of the title race which is considered to be between five teams to challenge.

Jose Mourinho's men are predicted to finish some 16 points behind his old team in what would be a sickening blow for the ex-Chelsea manager who was sacked near enough a year to the day last season.

Mourinho left Chelsea in 16th place when he was sacked and the team are now riding high in the Premier League with virtually the same squad that played under the 'Special One'.

If the season pans out as predicted United will finish sixth on 67 points just one more point than what Louis Van Gaal finished 5th with last season.

Van Gaal though managed to win the FA Cup but what was still axed paving way for Mourinho to work his uhum... magic.

To make things look even worse for United, 67 points is just three more than the tally they finished with the season David Moyes took over form Sir Alex Ferguson and was sacked just before the end of the campaign.

If Mourinho was to take any notice of the predictions based on current form and statistics, then the Europa League would become a very important competition.

Winning it would see the club automatically qualify for the Champions League but that is easier said than done having seen Liverpool lose the final last year to Sevilla.

Could the Euro Club Index hint the end of Arsene Wenger?

The Arsenal manager is in his last season as boss and with no new deal yet to be agreed would he feel it time to call it a day at the club he has served for over 20 years.

With no title in the last 13 years and the Gunners finishing runners-up for the second year on the trot already disgruntled supporters may voice their protest over the Frenchman signing a new contract.

After Arsenal beat Hull City in the 2014 FA Cup final at Wembley, Wenger committed to a three year extension and was confident he could deliver at least one Premier League title in that time.

The predicted table shows that wont be the case, so perhaps the end is near for the longest serving manager in the Premier League.

Sunderland are predicted to finally drop out of the Premier League after battling relegation since being promoted in 2007.

The club have not finished higher than 10th since being promoted and in the last three seasons have performed a great escape.

Hull City will go straight back down whilst Swansea City will head back down to the Championship for the first time since 2011.
