Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium has the fewest empty seats in the Premier League… beating Man United and a shock other team to top spot

Arsene Wenger's side see their ground 99.45 per cent full with United third - but there's an unexpected team in second spot

ARSENAL have the fewest empty seats of any team in the Premier League, beating Manchester United and a surprise other team to top spot.

The Emirates is 99.45 per cent full this season, while Old Trafford is at 99.41 per cent capacity.

However, it is relegation-threatened Swansea who take second spot with 99.44 per cent.

Bottom of the pile in the Prem are Hull, whose KCOM stadium has almost 20 per cent of seats free so far this campaign.

Everton's Goodison Park - which was electric in the 2-1 defeat of Arsenal - comes fourth on 99.21 per cent and Chelsea's ground Stamford Bridge fifth on 98.83 per cent.

Overall, Prem grounds are 94.02 per cent full for games, the best across any of Europe's top-five leagues.

However, no one can compare with Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund in the Bundesliga.

The information, which comes from economists Deportes & Finanzas, claims they both have 100 per cent-full stadia.

In La Liga Leganes come top with 90.44 per cent while of the big clubs Real Madrid do best in third, but still at a relatively lowly 82.5 per cent.

Their bitter city rivals Atletico are fourth in the table on 82.46 per cent and Osasuna second on 83.09 per cent.

Barcelona's Nou Camp is full enough only for fifth on the table with 81.97 per cent.

Juventus are almost 30 per cent ahead of the rest in Serie A.

The fabled ground in Turin boasts a 97.45 attendance record while Joe Hart's Torino come second on 68.18 per cent.

Lazio are bottom of the Italian pile - and bottom of the top-five in Europe - with a truly woeful 26.82 per cent attendance rate.

Paris Saint-Germain are unsurprisingly top in France on 91.95 per cent.

Overall, Bundesliga grounds are 93.06 per cent full, La Liga 73.71 per cent, Ligue 1 66.05 per cent and Serie A just 53.49 per cent.
