Veteran Bulgarian is a free agent and wants new club as Red Devils allow him to reach his physical peak back at Carrington
DIMITAR BERBATOV is set to make a stunning return to Manchester United, reports claim.
The Bulgarian veteran is an Old Trafford icon after scoring 56 goals during four seasons under Sir Alex Ferguson.
But reports from Berbatov’s homeland allege he will return to the Theatre of Dreams to build up his fitness under Jose Mourinho.

The 35-year-old is a free agent after leaving Greek side PAOK, and Bulgarian outlet claims he will also be keeping a close eye on Mourinho in preparation for life as a coach.
Berbatov is said to have arrived in London on Wednesday ahead of United’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace.
And he will then apparently travel up north to Carrington where he will train with his old side for a week.
Berbatov won plenty of silverware during his time at United and is still held in high regard by the fans.
The former Tottenham hitman lifted two Premier League titles but any chance of helping the Red Devils to more league glory is virtually non-existent.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic – who’s the same age as Berbatov – continues to lead the line for Mourinho, who also has the likes of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney at his disposal.
