David Moyes’ side were battered 3-0 in Wales, and they finished the weekend in last place, whereas their next opponents carried on their remarkable form.

A late goal from Diego Costa was enough to beat West Brom 1-0, and left Antonio Conte’s side winning nine league games in a row.

The Blues will be hoping for better luck at the Stadium of Light this season, after losing an epic 3-2 battle with Sunderland at the back end of the last campaign.
