Manchester City new arrival Gabriel Jesus crowned player of the year in Brazil after winning Golden Ball award
Teenage forward will arrive at the Etihad in piping-hot form after a wonderful season with Palmeiras in Brazil
MANCHESTER CITY'S summer signing Gabriel Jesus arrives at the Etihad after being named the player of the year in Brazil - after guiding Palmeiras to their first league title in 22 years.
Jesus signed for City in the summer for £27million but instead of going straight to his new club he stayed in Brazil to continue his fine season.
But now that he has won the league in Brazil he has travelled to Manchester and enjoyed a a meal with his new manager, City director of football Txiki Begiristain and the club’s Brazilian midfielders Fernando and Fernandinho.

But to add to his happiness of winning the league title at his former club, the forward now boasts a prestigious award, known as Bola de Ouro, which has also been awarded to the likes of Neymar, Ronaldinho and Carlos Tevez.
This comes after he scored 12 goals and registered five assists for Palmeiras - who stormed to the league title, topping the table by nine points.
The 19-year-old has also already featured for Brazil's national team after making his debut in a 2018 World Cup qualifier against Ecuador.

As well as being one of five forwards to be named in the Olympic squad, which was hosted by Brazil in 2016.
The Samba stars won gold in Rio, with him scoring three goals throughout the tournament.
Guardiola will welcome the striker to his squad once he has had a break from his full season in Brazil.
After having his sit down with Guardiola, Begiristain and the Brazilian midfield duo Fernando and Fernandinho, the City boss has banned Jesus from drinking Coke.
The Samba star also watched his new teammates from the stands to watch their 3-1 defeat to Chelsea at the Etihad.
