Arsenal transfer news: Olivier Giroud not leaving in January despite failing to start a single league game all season
Frenchman most definitely out of favour at the Emirates but will stick around until the summer before potential exit
OLIVIER GIROUD will not be leaving Arsenal in January despite failing to start a single Premier League game this season.
The Frenchman has struggled for games under Arsene Wenger following his return from Euro 2016 duty with France last summer.
Despite injuries to Danny Welbeck and Lucas Perez, Giroud has taken to the pitch just seven times so far.

Alexis Sanchez has been leading the attack in a new-look front three and is set to continue after becoming joint-top scorer with a hat-trick against West Ham last weekend.
Giroud’s situation has led to reports linking him with a move away from the Emirates in January.
The hitman is entering the final 18 months of his lucrative contract and is unlikely to extend his Gunners stay.
However, Giroud’s agent insists he will remain in north London until the end of the campaign.
