Dutchman has found his form again and is set to be offered new contract after netting winner in Rome derby
ROMA are reading to give Everton target Kevin Strootman a new deal.
The Dutch midfielder, 26, looked out of favour at the Stadio Olympico after an indifferent run of games.
But his goal in Sunday's derby triumph over Lazio has seen the club restart contract negotiations - which would keep him in Italy until 2021.

According to , the deal will be worth £2.3million-a-year but bonuses and other details are yet to be ironed out.
It will come as a relief to the long-time Toffees target, who after a fine start to the season had dropped behind in the pecking order behind Radja Nainggolan.
And may fans were left wondering if Nainggolan left for the Premier League, who in the team would be able to replace him.
But Roma seem to have answered that with the new contract offer for Strootman - and are planning to tie down Arsenal target Kostas Manolas to a new deal.
