Colombia plane crash: Sister of Chapecoense air crash victim gets poignant tattoo tribute of her dead brother
Goalkeeper Danilo was one of 71 people who died including 19 Chapecoense players
THE sister of Chapecoense goalkeeper Danilo who died in the tragic Colombia plane disaster has paid tribute to her brother by getting a tattoo on her back.
Danilo, who was 31, was amongst the 71 people that lost their lives when a plane carrying most of the Chapecoense side ran out of fuel before crashing over Cerro Gordo, La Union.
Danilo survived the crash but later died in hospital and was one of 19 Chapecoense players to lose their lives.
And sister, Daniele Padilha, paid tribute by getting a tattoo of him on her back.
It shows him wearing the No.1 jersey with a halo over his head and she shared it with the caption: "Forever in my history, my memories, my prayers, my thoughts. Forever in my heart, marked on my body."
