Chelsea and Manchester City charged by FA with failing to control players after mass brawl at weekend
Sergio Aguero and Fernandinho were sent off as stars collided on Etihad pitch near end of 3-1 win for Blues
CHELSEA and Manchester City have been charged with failing to control their players following Saturday's mass brawl at the Etihad.
Stars on both sides collided after Sergio Aguero's reckless two-footed lunge left David Luiz in a heap of pain near the end of Chelsea's 3-1 win.
The Argentine was shown a straight red for his terrible tackle but that didn't stop Nathaniel Chalobah and Kelechi Iheanacho going after each other as Fernandinho tangled with Cesc Fabregas.

The City midfielder eventually pushed his counterpart over the hoardings after grabbing his throat, making for very ugly scenes all round.
Aguero and Fernandinho have since received respective four and three-match bans, but both Chelsea and City face further punishment by the FA after it was revealed Fabregas will not face any action for his role in the scuffle.
A statement read: "Both Manchester City and Chelsea have been charged for failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and/or refrained from provocative behaviour.
"It follows an incident in the 95th minute of the game on Saturday 3 December.
