FORMER Chelsea ace Eidur Gudjohnsen is relishing a potential reunion with Ronaldinho as he offers to play for Chapecoense.
The Icelandic centre-forward has pledged his support towards the Brazilian side in the wake of the plane crash disaster last week.
He becomes the latest footballer to offer his services to play for the side, with ex-Barcelona team-mate Ronaldinho and Argentinian hero Juan Roman Riquelme also declaring their availability.

The prospect of past legends of the game teaming up in in the midst of such a tragic incident is an exciting thought, with the former Chelsea man keen to reunite with the Brazilian trickster.
Gudjohnsen posted on twitter: "Out of respect I would play for Chapecoense if they have a place for me! If not just to play with Ronaldinho again."

Chapecoense were due to face Colombian side Atletico Nacional in the first leg of the Copa Sudamericana final, but the plane they were on board sadly crashed leaving most of the squad dead.
Their opponents subsequently have appealed to CONMEBOL, the South American governing body, to award the trophy to them out of respect.
