JAMIE CARRAGHER has blasted Loris Karius in the wake of Liverpool’s shock 4-3 defeat to Bournemouth.
The German was at fault for a number of goals as the Cherries fought their way back from 3-1 down to pinch a late winner.
And Carragher admits Karius is yet to convince him after replacing Simon Mignolet as Jurgen Klopp’s first-choice goalie.

The result saw Liverpool fall further behind Chelsea in the title race after Antonio Conte’s men secured a magnificent win over Manchester City and their much-lauded boss Pep Guardiola at the Etihad on Saturday.
The Anfield faithful are hoping this is their year to finally top the table, but Carragher reckons they’ve got a long way to go if Karius remains between the sticks.
He told : “It’s nowhere near good enough from the goalkeeper [for Ryan Fraser’s goal]. This goalkeeper is yet to convince me – in any game – that he’s of the required standard.
“The seven or eight games he has played, and I know it’s still early days and who knows how he will do over the next two or three years, but it has to be a massive improvement from him.
