CRYSTAL PALACE defender Pape Souare fears he may never play football again after being involved in a horrifying car crash in September.
The Senegalese international suffered serious injuries after breaking his thigh bone and his jaw as he was airlifted to hospital after the incident.
The 26-year-old was initially predicted to be out for six months after being cut free from the wreckage of his Mercedes on the M4 motorway.

In his first in his first interview since the crash the defender says he may never fully recover from the injuries.
Souare told : "It has made me see the world differently.
"I can maybe lose my career.
"Anything can happen to anyone, we are all human and anything can happen to anyone."
The defender also gave an insight into the truly devastating extent of his injuries after having trouble eating.
He added: "I don’t know if I can get back to football or not.
"The injury was very bad... I know I was very lucky.
"It could have been worse but I got my leg broke and my jaw. I couldn't eat for the first month. Now I can eat a little bit.
"The thing about my leg is I am trying to do the work to make it stronger with the physio at the club."

Souare also revealed that he remembers the incident clearly, from the moment of the crash to being airlifted to hospital.
He said: "I remember everything from the accident,' he said.
"I remember the helicopter coming to get me, I remember the door on my leg, I remember the guy who was coming to talk to me and I said to him I will keep in touch with him as well because he helped me a lot before the helpers [ambulance] came.
"I remember they cut the roof to take me out. I remember everything."
Since the crash the defender has made a donation to London Air Ambulance for getting him to hospital.
