Reinforcements in attack seem to be far from Conte’s mind, with Diego Costa playing so well that £30million man Michy Batshuayi is yet to start a league game this season.

The 25-year-old, who has been compared to legendary Brazilian striker Ronaldo, has helped himself to six goals and five assists in the new Serie A campaign.

Colombia international Muriel was named as the Italian league’s Best Young Player in 2012 and can also play on the right if needed.
