Manchester United skipper Wayne Rooney to ban fan selfies after boozy wedding photo scandal
England striker takes measure after being struck by widespread criticism for his antics in the team hotel
WAYNE ROONEY is ready to ban all selfies with fans 'in public' in a bid to prevent any further sensational scandals involving the Manchester United captain from hitting the press.
The decision comes after Rooney was pictured at England’s Hertfordshire team break posing with guests at a wedding party at the venue during the last international break.
According to the Rooney's agent Paul Stretford said last night: “Undoubtedly one of the sad byproducts of this whole situation and everything Wayne has had to deal with since the night after the Scotland game means we are having to review the whole process of when he's in public in his own time.
“Wayne has always been open to agreeing to pictures in public and enjoys engaging with the public as a normal person.
