Jack Wilshere: Arsene Wenger confirms Arsenal midfielder will be offered a new deal at the club
French boss confirmed the on-loan midfielder, currently at Bournemouth, has his long-term future at the Emirates sorted
JACK WILSHERE will be offered a new contract by Arsenal.
The midfielder, on loan at Bournemouth for the season, is out of contract at the end of the season.
Wilshere cannot play for his parent club this weekend, but Wenger insists he has a future at Arsenal.
He said: “We will offer him a new deal. When he is in top form we miss him.

“It was a big decision for him to leave, but he wanted regular football.
“I read the reports on his progress and he is getting stronger.”
Wenger also admitted that he expects Wilshere to give Bournemouth chief Eddie Howe all the secrets before Sunday’s clash at the Emirates.
He added: “Yes - that’s normal. He is committed to his club.”

Wilshere will not be available to play for the Cherries against Arsenal back home at the Emirates due to the terms of his loan deal.
Ahead of the game, the England man claimed he hopes the Gunners lose the game - proving his commitment to his current club.
Wilshere said: “It’s frustrating of course [to not play this weekend], I’ve just got a run of games.
"But it might be good for me, to miss one and go again - but I'll be there.
"At the moment I'm a Bournemouth player, so I want Bournemouth to win."
