Portuguese superstar looks to be back to peak fitness as he demonstrates the power that goes into his training

WE all know that Cristiano Ronaldo likes to show off his Hercules-like physique at every opportunity.

The Real Madrid superstar, 31, has been quick to whip his shirt off or demonstrate his strength as he looks to prove he's over the injury sustained in the Euro 2016 final.

Ronaldo has always built his success on hard work, combining a strict regime of nutrition, workouts and military style precision to hone a body which can go beyond his rivals.

The forward begins the workout by raising his legs into the air, before pulling them away from each other - all the while with them being strapped to the bench via two bendy ropes.

It shows off Ronaldo's immense leg strength which has helped him become of the most feared attacker's in history.

Or perhaps he's just out to impress new belle Georgina Rodriguez, who caught the Real Madrid superstar’s eye in the VIP area of a Dolce & Gabbana event.

He has been busy recently making new adverts, including one where he shows off his juggling skills with some silky tricks.

Real Madrid are still reeling from losing Gareth Bale for up to four months and Ronaldo will continue to carry the side into the new year.

They currently sit top of La Liga, holding off Atleti and Barcelona, and will hope to hold onto that position when they face Sporting Gijon on Saturday afternoon.
