DANNY DRINKWATER will miss Leicester's next three Premier League matches after accepting an FA charge of violent conduct.
The England midfielder was up in the dock for elbowing Watford's Valon Behrami and will now be missing for some vital fixtures.
The Foxes have really struggled in the league this season despite winning the title in the last campaign.
And Drinkwater will be forced to watch from the sidelines against Middlesbrough, Sunderland and Manchester City.
Some fans believe Leicester's recent woes are down to the loss of N'Golo Kante, who joined Chelsea for £30million over the summer.
But with table-topping partner Drinkwater also out for the count, supporters are sure to be fearing the worst as they linger just two points above the relegation zone.
New arrival Nampalys Mendy is yet to make an impact after spending most of his time out injured, so Daniel Amartey will have to partner Andy King in the centre of the park until Drinkwater's time in the doghouse is up.

"The Leicester City midfielder was involved in an incident with Watford's Valon Behrami in the 67th minute of the game on Saturday (19 November 2016)."
