MANCHESTER United have been linked with a host of big-name targets for the upcoming transfer window as they close in on the top four after a mixed start to 2016-17.

Jose Mourinho has been eyeing up a host of new faces as he aims to get through his second window as Old Trafford chief in one piece.

The Portuguese boss, 53, will need a few more under his belt before he can truly call the squad his own, but who will he go for and who would you choose?

The most recent target is £42million-rated Benfica defender Victor Lindelof who would add some much-needed depth to United's defensive ranks, while £20million-rated Leon Bailey - the 19-year-old from Belgian side Genk - is on the cards.

Real Madrid ace Isco is another long-term target, as well as a host of other Premier League clubs, while Carles Alena, Gelson Martins and Thiago Maia are also on the cards.

Bayern Munich superstar David Alaba is arguably the highest-profile player on the Special One's radar, but Paris Saint-Germain man Serge Aurier and Tottenham striker Harry Kane are also big-name targets.

Monaco full-back Fabinho has been lined up by Mourinho all season and despite a deal looking unlikely, you can be all but certain the Portuguese chief will try his luck anyway.

On top of that, the Special One has been linked to Elseid HysajGuilherme Arana and Bruma, as well as Porto star Andre Silva and Chelsea youngster Reece James.
