Manchester United and Tottenham target Isco wants to stay at Real Madrid for two more seasons after breaking back into starting line-up

MANCHESTER  UNITED and Tottenham target, Isco, admits he will stay at Real Madrid for the next two seasons as the saga surrounding his future takes another twist.

The emergence of Marco Asensio appeared to spell the end of for the former Golden Boy award winner — with Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Casemiro all ahead of him in the pecking order.

However, injuries to the stellar midfield trio have given Isco a reprieve.

And he now claims he could still sign a contract as both he and the club are on the same page.

He said: “I will stay this year and the next.

“We [Real Madrid and I] are both keen — we hope it can be sorted.”

Meanwhile, last night’s 2-1 victory at Sporting Lisbon means only a win in Real Madrid’s final Champions League group match against Borussia Dortmund would be enough for top spot.

And Isco insists Los Blancos should approach the tie like they did their impressive derby win.

He added: “It is a very important match against a team who are playing very well — and play very well on the counter.

“The key will be to play like we did against Atletico.

“We need to be patient, defend together and the Bernabeu needs to be a fortress.”
