JERMAIN DEFOE celebrated his 150th Premier League goal in Sunderland's 3-0 rout of Hull City at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.

Most of his Premier League goals were scored for Tottenham in two different spells with the north London club spanning more than 10 years.

Defoe, who started his career at West Ham, scored 91 Premier League goals with Spurs He also had a short stint playing for Portsmouth in between leaving and returning to White Hart Lane.

Thierry Henry is just 18 games behind Shearer, his pace skill and athleticism saw a breed of a new striker, while his goals stunned many with the audacity of his attempts.

Andy Cole is the only other player to have hit 150 Premier League goals in less than 300 games, with Michael Owen, Wayne Rooney and Robbie Fowler the other players on the list.

Chelsea legend Frank Lampard is the only midfielder to score 150 goals in England's the Premier League.

Lampard is the fourth highest Premier League goalscorer of all-time with 177 goals in total.
