WAYNE ROONEY slipped up on drink in more ways than one after beating Scotland.
It has emerged Roo missed England's friendly with Spain because he damaged his knee falling over a bottle in the changing room.
And it began a bad night for Roo, with the costly slip sparking a chain of events that will lead to him being stripped of the Three Lions captaincy.

Roo's international future is now in major doubt after his booze binge following England's World Cup qualifying win over Scotland.
He was described as 's***-faced' after gatecashing a wedding and was sent home by boss Gareth Southgate the following day.
But the decision is believed to be down to his injury and not due to the fact he stayed up getting hammered until gone 4am with wedding guests at the plush Grove Hotel near Watford.
His decision to get lashed may have been in the knowledge that he was going to be packed off back to Manchester United on Sunday.
But Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho was still left furious he was allowed to get slaughtered with backroom staff while the FA's responsibility.
Already set to be stripped of the England armband, as exclusively revealed by SunSport, Roo is also set to be axed by Mourinho for United's clash with Arsenal tomorrow.
