Looking through both squads, there are players from as far away as South American and Africa on the books.

Next up is Man United's back-up stopper Sergio Romero, who travelled 14,338 miles with the Argentine squad.

Arsenal forward Alex Iwobi notched a whopping 6,424 miles while with Nigeria, just ahead of United's Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Gunners ace Mohamed Elneny on more than 4,000 miles apiece.

Hector Bellerin racked up 1,964 miles, despite not playing for Spain's Under-21s, while Matteo Darmian travelled 756 miles on Italy duty.

Memphis Depay had 457 miles under his belt with the Netherlands, while England's Wayne Rooney wasn't far behind - putting in the 400-mile round-trip from Manchester to London.

Arsenal's Theo Walcott had it easiest, making the simple trip from north London to slightly more north London... Just 24 miles in all.

Overall, it was Arsene Wenger's Gunners who spent more time on the plane, at 43,880 miles altogether, over 10,000 ahead of Jose Mourinho's Man United on 31,744 miles.

Will that extra time at 30,000ft prove to be too much for Arsenal when they travel to Old Trafford?
