But Oscar, 25, has made just seven Premier League appearances this season – and has not started for two months since Conte adopted a new 3-4-3 formation.
At the very least, club chiefs are confident they will finally snare the Brazil international by next summer.
But the Blues will not allow Oscar - who still has two-and-a-half years remaining on his Stamford Bridge deal - leave for anything less than the £25million they paid in 2012.
