Raphael Varane reveals he wants to stay at Real Madrid until he retires

RAPHAEL VARANE hopes to stay at Real Madrid for the rest of his career.
The 23-year-old French international is rated as one of the best centre-backs in the world, having joined Los Blancos form Lens in 2011.
Varane has had to bide his time for a regular starting spot as he had to compete with veteran pair Pepe and Sergio Ramos.

There has been talk of a switch to the Premier League, including a reunion with Jose Mourinho at Manchester United.
But the powerful, quick and agile Varane has made it clear he is looking not looking for a move and would like to see out his career with the 11-time European champions.
He said: "Right now, I would like to stay at Real Madrid until the end of my career.

"Things are going very fast in this industry, but why would I not want to retire at Madrid? There is no reason for me to leave.
"I am feeling very well at Madrid. It is obviously very difficult to predict what the future looks like, but I cannot see myself leaving at the moment.
"I want to continue to be a first-team regular here at Madrid. That is my long-term goal."
Varane also discussed with Le Figaro his delight at working under fellow-Frenchman Zinedine Zidane.
“He is a young coach who has already won the Champions League,” said Varane.
“He is capable [of managing France]. That suits me because I am a true perfectionist, I like to work on all the points that I can improve, and that is what motivates me and pushes me to assume responsibility.”
