HARRY KANE earns less than half of Daniel Sturridge’s £140,000-a-week contract – it has emerged.
The Tottenham striker is seeking a new vastly-improved deal at White Hart Lane, with rival Premier League goalscorers earning far healthier wage packets than his £60,000 a week.
Jamie Vardy is on £120,000 every seven days at Leicester but Kane is still on the five-year deal he signed after bursting on to the scene in 2015.

The 23-year-old striker is one of the hottest talents in world football and netted 32 times for club and country last term.
Kane is understood to be seeking parity of wages with the league’s other top forwards.
Hugo Lloris is another Tottenham player seeking better terms than the £80,000 he takes home at the club.
Kane and his representatives are keen for his paycheque to reflect his status as one of the Prem’s top strikers.
Even Christian Benteke earns a six-figure weekly salary at Crystal Palace, on £100,000.
But Tottenham’s carefully-managed wage structure, kept in place by chairman Daniel Levy aims to ensure Spurs can afford to compete at the top of the Premier League while finishing construction on their costly new stadium.
Tottenham fans are worried that Kane is going to up sticks and leave for another top rival like Chelsea, Manchester City or Manchester United – or move abroad to the likes of Bayern Munich or Real Madrid.
As SunSport reported on Sunday, Kane is on significantly less than even team-mate Moussa Sissoko at the club, leading to more head-scratching over his current salary.
