Luke Shaw sweats it out in bid to fix rift with Man Utd boss Jose Mourinho

Young defender takes to the gym to show he's putting his back into training and making good use of international break

IT seems that Manchester United’s Luke Shaw is making the most of the international break in a bid to win favour with boss Jose Mourinho.

The young left-back has been criticised by Mourinho of late but hit the gym to show this isn’t getting to him.

As his video shows Shaw, 21, completed a selection of resistance exercises and weighted lunges while at home.

He captioned the video, posted to his Instagram page, saying: “Ticking over on my weekend off.”

United host Arsenal on Saturday at lunchtime, when Shaw will no doubt hope to be back in favour with Mourinho.

Last time out they beat Swansea 3-1 with goals coming from record signing Paul Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
