ARSENAL have been dealt a massive blow after Alexis Sanchez failed to agree terms on a new contract... With Manchester City and Juventus poised to make a big-money bid.

The Chilean, 27, has just over one year left on his current deal at the Gunners and wants a substantial pay-boost on his current £130,000-a-week contract.

Sanchez has been in talks with the club since August, knowing that - in the prime of his career - this is the time to cash in his irreplaceable nature at the Gunners.

With time running out on his current deal, if the Chilean fails to sign a new contract soon, Arsene Wenger may be tempted to sell his star man rather than risk losing him on a free in 2018.

Juve have been long-time admirers of Sanchez, having bid £26m for him during his Udinese days.

However, the forward moved to Barcelona where he spent three seasons having been brought to the club by now-City boss Guardiola.

At the time, Pep said: “He is a player who can play in three positions.”

Perhaps the Spanish chief would consider another move for the Chilean ace...

So far this season, Sanchez has been in great form for Arsenal playing in a central role in attack, playing 15 times in all competitions and scoring eight times.
