Guess Who?

Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City, Tottenham, Chelsea, Manchester United? Our reporters predict who’ll win the Premier League

Whether Antonio Conte's Blues, Jurgen Klopp's Reds or Arsene Wenger's Gunners, which team do our writers prefer?

AS we go into November's international break, the Premier League table is really starting to take shape after 11 games of the 2016-17 season.

Liverpool currently sit top with 26 points, ahead of Chelsea on 25 and Manchester City and Arsenal on 24.

CHELSEA, says Charlie Wyett

LIVERPOOL are delivering some dazzling football – but Chelsea are looking like champions. For the moment, at least.

Out of nowhere, Antonio Conte’s team look the most solid which is a far cry from their 3-0 battering at Arsenal in September.

Liverpool have momentum which is why they could finish in second place.

Manchester City still have the quality and should finish third and for fourth spot it is a battle between Spurs and Arsenal.

At the moment, I think Tottenham will get into the top four. But then, we have been here before and it is often Arsenal who finish above their neighbours.

1. Chelsea, 2. Liverpool, 3. Manchester City, 4. Tottenham.

MANCHESTER CITY, says Neil Custis

PEP GUARDIOLA is still finding his way at Manchester City but they will get better in the coming months and when it comes to it they have a supreme squad of players.

They also have the one world class goalscorer in the Premier League in the brilliant Sergio Aguero. On their day they are a beautiful team to watch.

But Liverpool and Chelsea are not far behind and I can see this going right to the wire for all three while Arsenal and Tottenham fade.

Liverpool are the one side who can challenge City as the most entertaining side in the league with their front three of Roberto Firmino, Philippe Coutinho and Sadio Mane.

Their defence is only suspect because the whole team is constantly on the front foot. It would be a real triumph if this style ultimately prevailed.

That seems to be a more romantic view as it was with Newcastle’s ‘Entertainers’ under Kevin Keegan. So the pragmatist pointing towards the Etihad.

Jose Mourinho will come again next season but I can still see him getting his Manchester United into the top four with a productive January transfer window.

CHELSEA will win the Premier League because boss Antonio Conte inherited a great squad which was down on its luck and confidence.

Buying N'Golo Kante and David Luiz has been good business so far but rejuvenating players like Eden Hazard, Diego Costa, Pedro, Victor Moses and Nemanja Matic makes the whole squad feel like new.

The consistency in the defending will give Chelsea the edge over Manchester City.

Liverpool will run out of steam and Arsenal must finish fourth - it's a tradition.

CHELSEA have rediscovered the arrogance and swagger which won them the title two seasons ago and are determined to learn from last year’s mistakes.

Antonio Conte has implemented a system which suits his stars and with Eden Hazard and Diego Costa back in the groove they are going to be the team to beat again.

But it is their defensive solidity which gives them the edge over all the other contenders in what promises to be the most fiercely contested title race for years.

Liverpool, Manchester City and Arsenal are all capable of blowing opponents away with their attacking prowess but will also drop points along the way.

CHELSEA will win the Premier League.

They have the best chef. Antonio Conte is cooking up the perfect recipe. He knows it inside out and his customers always love it.

It is consistently excellent.

Liverpool's Jurgen Klopp creates some unique moments for our taste buds but ultimately consistency at the back and in goal is not good enough to sustain a title challenge this season.

But a great goalkeeper and a decent centre-half to accompany Joel Matip should see them win the title comfortably next season.

Manchester City will be there or thereabouts as will Tottenham and Arsenal. But Chelsea will win it.

THIS could be the year that Arsene Wenger finally wins the Premier League title again.

It would also be a fitting way to end what is likely to be his managerial career with Arsenal.

They look as if they have finally got a time able to challenge for the title and if they can keep their key players injury-free - which has been a problem for Wenger in recent seasons - should still be up there at the end of the season.

CHELSEA have three big things going for them.

First, a number of players capable of winning a match on their own and making or poaching a goal out of nothing, led by Eden Hazard and Diego Costa.

Second, defenders who are thriving in a new system and who, in the key matches yet to come, stand a chance of making sure the goals the team scores are enough to win.

And third, in Antonio Conte, a manager who appears to combine tactical astuteness with the ability to coax the best out of a talented squad.

That will be more than enough to clinch them the Premier League title.

THE Premier League trophy is destined for London this season.

But sorry Spurs fans – I reckon it’s going to be a straight fight between Chelsea and Arsenal for the title.

My gut instinct tells me Antonio Conte’s Chelsea are going to be crowned Premier champions because I believe they will invest and kick on again in January, while Arsenal will dither.

Liverpool will go a long way but might just have too many deficiencies in defence to mount a full-on title challenge, while Manchester City could be distracted by the Champions’ League.

That’s a problem Conte doesn’t have at Chelsea and I think in the final run-in, having an entire week to work with your players is a huge advantage.

Just ask Claudio Ranieri.

MANCHESTER CITY, says Daniel Cutts

WHILE Manchester City are out-of-form at present, their squad should have the quality over the distance.

If they can get Sergio Aguero fit and firing, and if Ilkay Gundogan continues his sparkling form, they should be Champions.

Arsenal will come close again, but they are fragile when times get tough and injuries always seem to play a part.

Chelsea also look strong, but Antionio Conte’s 3-4-3 formation may be found out, and they’ll fall short if that’s the case.

Liverpool will pip Tottenham and Manchester United to fourth under Jurgen Klopp’s tactical genius.

COULD 2016-17 finally be the season Liverpool get their hands on their first Premier League title - and first top flight trophy since 1990?

If they've ever had any chance, it's now.

With a formidable front four of Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Adam Lallana, a strong midfield and much more squad depth than in previous years, they've never looked quite this scary... Not even in 2013-14.

Jurgen Klopp has been rapidly improving the Reds over the last 12 months - and with some defensive reinforcements in January, there is no doubt Liverpool could romp to the league on the back of their fearless, attacking prowess if nothing else.

Chelsea look set to be their main rivals as a switch to 3-5-2 under Antonio Conte combined with the return to form of Eden Hazard and Diego Costa has reaped massive rewards, but Manchester City will also be in the mix.

After all, you can never count a team including Pep Guardiola, Sergio Aguero and Kevin De Bruyne out.

Then there's Arsenal; for all of their strengths, they still have a tendency to fall just short. After a solid start, they've been very hit and miss.

They should have enough for the top four come May, but there's no room in the Champions League spots for Tottenham or Manchester United this year, I'm afraid.
