Etihad star believes that Argentine striker will resist Bernabeu interest to stay in the Premier League
SERGIO AGUERO will resist Real Madrid’s advances and stay at Manchester City throughout the remainder of his European playing days.
At least that is the belief of the Argentine’s team-mate Ilkay Gundogan.
The striker is a legend at City and bagged his 150th goal for the club during Saturday’s 1-1 Premier League draw with Middlesbrough.

Aguero has already vowed to finish his career back in his homeland with Independiente, but La Liga giants Madrid are reported to be plotting a move to bring the hotshot to Spain.
Gundogan has dismissed talk of his colleague switching to the Bernabeu and compared the hitman to the game’s finest finishers.

The Germany star said: “I think he will stay here. I have no doubt about that.
“He’s very good. I’m lucky that I played with Robert Lewandowski at Borussia Dortmund and now Sergio.
"Lewandowski, of course, is taller, but both are very strong and are able to keep the ball. And Sergio, he’s just a goal machine. I mean if he has the chances to score then 90–95 per cent of the time he will score.
“If you know you have such a player in your team then you know that you are always able to score and will always create your chances.
“Sergio is extremely important for us and while he didn’t score against Barcelona in our Champions League win he worked a lot and ran a lot and just tried to keep every ball for us.”
Gundogan, who moved to the Etihad in a £21m deal from Dortmund, is just one of several German stars to arrive in England over the summer.
He was followed to City by Leroy Sane, while fellow countrymen Joel Matip and Shkodran Mustafi moved to Liverpool and Arsenal respectively.
And the invasion of German talent is benefiting the quality of the top-flight just as much as stars from Brazil, France and Spain according to the 26-year-old.
Gundogan added: “It doesn’t surprise me that a lot of good players have come here from Germany and I think we can say that the type of football played in the Premier League is improving.
“When you think about 10 or 15 years ago, everything was about kick and rush – long balls and just run behind the ball. So there is definitely an influence.”
