Joe Hart blunder

JOE HART and Torino are flying in Serie A — with this latest victory sending them up to sixth in the table.

But it could have been very different had the England No1 not reacted so quickly to his own mistake.

However, he inexplicably allowed the ball to slip through his fingers. It was about to cross the line, only for the goalkeeper to grab hold of the ball just in time.

Goal line technology was needed for television replays — and they confirmed the whole ball had not crossed the line.

While Hart is still the established No1 for the Three Lions, recent performances from the likes of Tom Heaton and Jason Pickford have added a little pressure.

And this mistake would have done him no favours.

Andrea Belotti kept up his incredible form with two goals as Torino moved to within three points of a Champions League place.

Adem Ljajic, Marco Benassi and Daniele Baselli were also on the scoresheet in the rout.

The result ends a recent three-match streak without a win.

Hart then celebrated the victory with a bizarre video where he appears in front of a Torino badge, and whispers: "Come on."
