Ladbrokes News’ Dave Burin said: “Someone is set for a World Cup-winning bargain in the January sales.
"But will it be Mourinho, Wenger or a dark horse who secures the Spaniard’s signature?”
Fabregas, whose partner Daniella Semaan is pregnant with their third child, has been at the Blues since 2014 following stints at Arsenal and La Liga giants Barcelona.
The Spanish midfielder turned out in 37 of Chelsea's 38 Premier League games last term, to go with 34 the season before.
However, since Antonio Conte took over the reins at Stamford Bridge, Fabregas has been a fringe player at best, making only four appearances in the league and two in the EFL Cup.
