CLAUDE PUEL will be without Shane Long but Jay Rodriguez could return for Southampton for their trip to Hull.

Mike Phelan is hoping to welcome back striker Dieumerci Mbokani for Sunday's clash.

The travelling Saints could see three other players return alongside Rodriguez, who was concussed in the EFL Cup win over Sunderland.

Full backs Matt Targett and Cedric Soares and goalkeeper Alex McCarthy are all in line to make a return at the KCOM.

Long remains out and has not been called up to the Republic of Ireland squad.

Mike Phelan currently has a long missing person's list.
