Arsenal 3 Tottenham 0 — 2006-07
GRAHAM POLL stole the headlines in this controversial clash after awarding the home side two spot kicks.
Emmanuel Adebayor opened the scoring and the Gunners doubled their lead through Gilberto Silva’s penalty after Pascal Chimbonda was harshly adjudged to have fouled Tomas Rosicky.
And the Brazilian scored his second from 12 yards when Jermaine Jenas tripped Robin van Persie after the Dutchman had handled.
Arsenal 2 Tottenham 1 — 2007-08
NICKLAS BENDTNER was the derby hero as he scored seconds after coming off the bench to keep the Gunners top of the table.
Two of the season’s star men in Adebayor and Dimitar Berbatov had earlier scored either side of half-time.
But Robbie Keane missed the chance to put Spurs ahead when his penalty was saved by Manuel Almunia.
Arsenal 4 Tottenham 4 — 2008-09
ONE the greatest matches in Premier League history.
David Bentley’s stunner opened the scoring for the visitors — but Arsenal hit back through Mikael Silvestre, William Gallas and Adebayor.
Darren Bent pulled a goal back, before Van Persie seemingly put the goal to bed.
Only for Jenas to make it 4-3 with a minute to go and Aaron Lennon to equalise in stoppage time.
Arsenal 3 Tottenham 0 — 2009-10
NORMALITY was resumed as Tottenham capitulated in two first half minutes.
Van Persie opened the scoring three minutes before half-time and Tottenham then immediately gave the ball away from kick-off, allowing Cesc Fabregas to put the game to bed.
The Dutchman added a third on the hour mark.
Arsenal 2 Tottenham 3 — 2010-11
IT FINALLY happened. Spurs won a match at the Emirates — and in some style.
Samir Nasri and Marouane Chamakh appeared to set Arsenal on the way to a routine victory.
But Rafael van der Vaart hit back with a second half double, and Younes Kaboul won it for Tottenham with five minutes remaining.
Arsenal 5 Tottenham 2 — 2011-12
IT WAS role reversal this time as Louis Saha and Adebayor — now at Spurs — put the visitors in control.
But the Gunners came storming back through Bacary Sagna and Van Persie before half-time with Rosicky and a Theo Walcott double in the second half, before Scott Parker was sent off.
Despite the result, Tottenham stayed seven points clear of their North London rivals in third place with just 12 games remaining — but would be ultimately finish below Arsenal.
Arsenal 5 Tottenham 2 — 2012-13
HISTORY repeated itself in Andre Villas-Boas’ first North London derby.
Adebayor put the visitors ahead but soon saw red for a shocking challenge.
Per Mertesacker, Lukas Podolski, Olivier Giroud and Santi Cazorla took advantage before Gareth Bale pulled a goal back and Walcott added a fifth in stoppage time.
Arsenal 1 Tottenham 0 — 2013-14
GIROUD scored the only goal of the game to end Tottenham’s 100 per cent start to the season.
The Gunners came into this on the back of some shaky form after surprisingly losing their opener at home to Aston Villa, while Spurs had won two from two.
But, as they say — form goes out of the window in derby games.
Arsenal 1 Tottenham 1 — 2014-15
SPURS looked set to earn a second win at the Emirates until an equaliser 16 minutes from time.
Nacer Chadli continued his fine scoring form to open the scoring on 56 minutes.
But Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain rescued a point for Arsene Wenger’s men.
Arsenal 1 Tottenham 1 — 2015-16
AND it was similar story a year on — especially if you’re Andre Marriner.
This time Harry Kane had opened the scoring on 32 minutes.
Only for Kieran Gibbs — who Marriner famously red carded after mistaking him for Oxlade-Chamerlain — to equalise 13 minutes from time.
