Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew rumoured to be considering a swoop for Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic

CHELSEA defender Branislav Ivanovic is reportedly on Alan Pardew's transfer wishlist as the Crystal Palace boss looks to strengthen his back line in January.

The 32-year-old right-back, who joined Chelsea from Lokomotiv Moscow in 2008, will be out of contract come the end the season.

Reports in the  suggest Palace are keen on the defender, who is unlikely to feature much in the current Chelsea line-up given Antonio Conte now appears to prefer a back three.

The Blues have won their last four fixtures and kept four clean sheets since Ivanovic last featured in Conte's Premier League starting XI.

The long serving Serbian international made a brief appearance from the bench in Saturday's 2-0 win at Southampton.

According to the reports Ivanovic is also receiving offers from across Europe and the Far East and may be forced to consider his options if Conte continues to omit the defender from his starting line up.
