MANCHESTER UNITED outcast Bastian Schweinsteiger trained with the first team on Monday despite Jose Mourinho saying he would never play for the club again.
In fact, things got so bad for the World Cup-winning midfielder that he was even dropped from training with the reserves.
However, with Man United's early hot form waning dramatically, it appears the Special One has been forced into a large helping of humble pie, with Schweinsteiger ready for a return to the first team.

After all, it wouldn't be the first time a player had been frozen out by a manager only to make a shock comeback and prove all the doubters wrong.

Emmanuel Adebayor: Tottenham
SPURS man Adebayor was frozen out early in the 2013-14 season under Andre Villas-Boas, failing to make the squad for months,
However, after Tim Sherwood was announced boss, the Togolese forward went on an incredible run and ended the season with 11 goals from just 21 games.
Carlos Tevez: Man City
ARGENTINE forward Tevez was famously dropped by Roberto Mancini in early 2011-12; in fact he played just 13 times all season, scoring four times.
However, next season was a different story, playing in 34 of the club's 38 Premier League games, netting 11 times.
Victor Moses: Chelsea
THE former Wigan man was brought into Chelsea in 2012, however was quickly shipped out on loan for three seasons, to Liverpool, Stoke and West Ham.
This season, Nigerian Moses has been resurgent under Antonio Conte, starring in a wing-back role in the Blues' new successful formation.

HE'S been on the books of Arsenal since 2008, but Coquelin only burst onto the Premier League scene having been ditched by Arsene Wenger.
Amidst a severe injury crisis, the French boss recalled him from Charlton - having spent years on loan at Lorient and Freiburg - only to star in the middle of the Gunners' midfield.
Yoan Gouffran: Newcastle
FRENCH midfielder Gouffran was a total outcast during Newcastle's Premier League relegation season, playing just nine times.
Yet two months into the new season and he has been one of the Toon's best players, playing 14 times, netting three times.
