GARETH BALE has urged Real Madrid to make history and become the first team to win back-to-back Champions League titles.
Los Blancos are the most successful team on the continent by some margin after landing ‘La Undecima’ in May.
Real have now won Europe’s elite competition twice in the past three years, and their star-studded squad suggests they could easily do it again.

Welshman Bale is just one who is backing his team to shock the world and win consecutive titles.
The former Tottenham man is in high spirits after penning a lucrative new contract effectively ruling out a Premier League return.
And he’s feeling confident about Real’s chances as Zinedine Zidane’s men also look to break Barcelona’s stranglehold in La Liga.

Speaking as Nissan’s new global ambassador, Bale said: “I think the whole team believes that we can in the Uefa Champions League again. There’s no reason why not, we’ve done it before.
“We’re fully focused on that task this season, and we’ll be doing everything we can to win the trophy again and hopefully make history.
“It’s difficult to win the Champions League anyway, so to win it two times in a row obviously it’s even more difficult. There’s a lot of amazing teams playing and you need that bit of luck. But we’ve done it the once now, we have a chance to make history and hopefully we can do that.
“Obviously Real Madrid is known for winning Champions Leagues. It’s what the club is about and we all know how important it is, not just to the players but to the fans also. We’ll be trying our best for everybody involved to try and defend the title and get our twelfth Uefa Champions League.”
