Stars clearly put huge effort into terrifying costumes after storming to Premier League win on Saturday

IT was all fright on the night for Liverpool’s stars as they celebrated victory over Crystal Palace with a spooky Halloween party.

The Reds returned from Selhurst Park with a 4-2 win, and some aces were determined to mark the occasion with an evening of frighteningly-good fun on Sunday.

Roberto Firmino led the way as he donned an impressive Batman costume, with his partner continuing the theme by dressing up at Catwoman.

Anchorman Lucas Leiva clearly put a lot of effort into his outfit as he added a terrifying twist to the class Grim Reaper.

His son joined in the fun dressed up as The Dark Knight’s Joker, while Philippe Coutinho went as Jared Leto’s creation from Suicide Squad.

The Brazilian’s wife accompanied him as Harley Quinn, but Coutinho is sure to be wondering if Barcelona’s Halloween shindig was half as entertaining as he pursues a dream Nou Camp switch.

Reports claim the playmaker wants to join the Spanish champions next summer after pushing for a move in the last transfer window.

But Jurgen Klopp is determined to keep Coutinho at Anfield and will offer him a new contract – even though his last one came less than a year ago.
