Manchester United vs Manchester City: Marcus Rashford and Kelechi Iheanacho set to start for the two rival clubs at Old Trafford in tonight’s EFL Cup clash

Zlatan Ibrahimovic likely to be dropped to the bench - but there is no place for Wayne Rooney in SunSport's likely line-ups

JOSE MOURINHO is set to pick a strong line-up as Manchester United take on Manchester City in the EFL Cup tonight.

But Zlatan Ibrahimovic is likely to be dropped to the bench with Marcus Rashford finally given his chance under the Special One as a lone striker with Juan Mata in the hole.

Rashford has been playing as a wide man in recent games, being deployed both on the left and on the right so far this season.

City are expected to go for a strong line-up with with the likes of Leroy Sane and Ilkay Gundogan in their side - with Sergio Aguero and David Silva rested.

The Red Devils are out for revenge after being soundly 2-1 by Pep Guardiola’s side at Old Trafford last month.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan played that day - and was panned for his anonymous performance - but has worryingly not featured for United since, with Mourinho speculating that he is not fully fit.
