Chelsea team news: John Terry set to start Blue’s EFL Cup clash against West Ham
Defender hasn't featured since his injury against Swansea over six weeks ago
JOHN TERRY is set to return for Chelsea's EFL Cup clash at West Ham on Wednesday.
The Blues captain hasn't featured since injuring his ankle in the 2-2 draw at Swansea just over six weeks ago.
Boss Antonio Conte named Terry as a substitute in the 4-0 victory against Manchester United and hinted that he is ready to throw him into action at the Olympic Park.

Speaking in his press conference, the Italian said: "Yeah, he’s fit to start and in good shape but tomorrow I’ll decide the team. But John is fit. He trained very well this week and last week and he’s ready.”
There was more good news for Conte after defender Kurt Zouma was in action for the first time since the beginning of February in Chelsea Under-23's 2-2 draw with Derby.
The 21-year-old managed 45 minutes under his belt and Conte is hopeful to see him training with the senior squad later in the week.

He added: "I'm pleased for this because Zouma is a young player but he’s a good player, and I hope to see him very soon.
"Very soon for me is when we start the training sessions after West Ham. I hope to see him work with us but I’m very happy that he played a little yesterday.
"He had a good answer in the physical aspect after the game."
Conte also confirmed that Branislav Ivanovic is training but Cesc Fabregas will miss the clash with the Hammers.
Ivanovic, who picked up a knock on international duty, has returned to training but the boss may rest the right back.
He said: "For Ivanovic, he’s better. He started to train with us yesterday, also today, but it’s normal after an injury he needs a bit of time to find the right shape to come back with our squad.
"Cesc is still not well. We must wait because he had a muscular problem and we are waiting. We must be patient because the muscular problem is tight. I hope to see him very soon with the team in the training session."
